Supermodel

Supermodel is an emulator for SEGA's Model 3 arcade platform, allowing you to play some great arcade classics from the mid-90s. The goal of this software is to offer a gaming experience that's as close as possible to the original but from the comfort of a PC where you don't have to keep inserting coins.

No graphical interface, but very easy to use

It's important to keep in mind that Supermodel has no graphical interface. This means that, although it's very easy to set up, you will have to use the Windows command console to be able to launch any ROM. The process to do this is extremely simple: first, you must unzip the compressed file into a folder. Then, you must put any ROM you want to load inside the same folder, in ZIP format. Next, you must open the Windows command console and type "cd" followed by the directory where you unzipped the emulator. Lastly, just type "Supermodel", and you'll see an explanation of all available options.

Run your favorite game with the options of your choice

If you type "supermodel rom.zip" in the Windows command console (substituting "rom" for the name of the compressed file), you'll run the game in question, without any changes, with its original resolution and options intact. But, by adding additional scripts and commands at the end, you can alter the screen resolution or set up the keys before you start playing. It might seem a bit complicated at first, but once you do it a couple of times, you'll find that it's actually very easy.
